Colour ringtones & MMS were stellar performers, rising by 90.3% & 76% in revenues respectively. While detractors may condemn its monopoly, the fact remains that China Mobile is proving to be quite adept at innovating business practices to retain leadership & profitability. And with the 2010 Beijing Olympics just around the corner (China Mobile being the official mobile services provider), its dominance over the Chinese consumer mind space would be just about complete.
