While in its software business, it keeps a modern, forward-looking face, the PC biz neither has a popular face by its side nor is it promoting lifestyle computing heavily. Despite that, due to its strong performance in the low-cost desktop segment, HCL manages to be a volume player in Indian PC market. Even the latest ad from HCL is more of a corporate campaign. “It illustrates the range and depth of HCL’s offerings,” explains Shiv Nadar, Founder HCL.
